The very first release by Jim Shepard's group V-3. Only ever released on cassette on the small Iron Press label. A few of these songs have been released on other V-3 releases and compilations... you may remember "Inside Outpost" from Tar'd & Further'd.
I unfortunately have not been able to track down a cover for this release. The one above is just one I made. If you have it or any other info on this release, please send it along!

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to hear these songs ever since I read the reviews in Trousers Press. can you post some more Vertical Slit like the 'Your wife is licking my strobe light and grinning' tape or V-3s Eps 'Earth muffin' and 'Russian roulette Chinese style'. Both you blogs Rock! Sorry to say I'm a little late for some of the Kiwi posts.

Shocker, Gabe was full of sh*t! In the eight years since Gabe exploded on the scene as chairman and CEO of Iron Press Entertainment, he's done a grand total of 1 "re-release", which was basically burning a few dozen CDRs of Motorcycle Movie. The chances he'll actually get his act together and "re-release" Unbroken Silence or any other Shepard material? I'll just quote him: "Lets say no chance......"
